Around 35% of the Slovene territory is included in Natura 2000 sites and more than 12% of the territory belongs to nature protected areas. To protect the nature, people need to understand, experience and develop respect for it. Nature parks provide such learning environment.
The project objectives are to develop an innovative training programme on nature interpretation and healthy lifestyle promotion, to form a pool of potential trainers, and to ensure sustainability of the training offer after the project end. The most important outcome will be a curriculum on nature interpretation and healthy lifestyle promotion accompanied with the training materials.
