The Federal Agency of Nature Conservation is planning a nature conservation project in this three states corner (Lower Saxonia - Thuringia - Hesse), which intents to preserve and develop the cultural landscape, well - structured deciduous forests and natural streams in the Werra mountains south of the Harz region.
