The Thuringian Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Environment has carried out a school project, informing on the Green Belt Thuringia and its history. Educational material was produced(a compact disk with information on history and nature of the Thuringian Green Belt and bags with material for outdoor research). Project days/weeks and training units for teachers were held.
