The Castanea Society for Environmental Protection (Hungary) is working on a system of "greenways", which will connect the treasures of the unique three landscapes in Sopron, Hungary (Alpine foothills, mediterranean hills, continental steppe lake). The planting of forests and alleys will promote ecotourism as well. Castanea Society for Nature Protection has established a system of nature trails describing Lake Ferto/Neusiedl, and Sopron Mountains.
