Kadetrinne

Kadetrinne is an incision in the submarine Darss Sill between the German peninsula Darss and the Danish Falster Island with deep cut-ins into the subsoil. Main habitats are rocky reefs housing many macrophytes. Kadetrinne is important for the exchange of species between the Baltic and the North Sea and for the macrozoobenthos biocoenosis. Kadetrinne is an important waterway, so the pollution caused by havaries and ocean dumping is high.
